I am thrilled to announce that Light Art Space has been awarded a National Park Service (NPS) Main Street Facade Improvement Grant, supported through a grant from the Historic Revitalization Subgrant Program as administered by the National Park Service, Department of Interior. This grant will enable me to replace the damaged front plate windows and four upstairs wood windows along with repairing the historic casement windows on the second floor. 2020 has been a hard year for all of us on this amazing planet and I am giving thanks the year is almost over. 2021 is looking much brighter and I am grateful for the support the gallery has received and continues to receive from all of you and the Town of Silver City. At present the gallery is closed but we to reopen December 17th if the virus numbers permit. It has been a pleasure partnering with The Lotus Center the past two months – the classes in the sculpture garden have been wonderful. We are hopeful they will continue in the near future (with heaters!).
Facing Forward and New Perspectives are still on the gallery walls (and floors, the ceilings…) and there are also great pieces on exhibit by the gallery artists.
While the gallery is closed you can see many images on the web site. Plus if there is something you have your eye on, I am happy to meet you curb side.
