Light Art Space will be closed December 24 and 25. The final week of 2022 we will be open Thursday – Saturday 11 – 5.
We are closing January and February with plans to reorganize and rejuvenate.

December Exhibitions

December Greetings!

Our final 2022 exhibitions opened this week.  My new photographic work is featured in Navigating The Internal and One of One by Carmen Ruiz is on view in the Flash Gallery.  We hope you can stop in soon to experience the work. Both exhibitions will be on view through December 31st.

Gallery hours are Thursday – Saturday 11am – 5 pm,  Sundays 10am – 2pm, and by appointment.
We will be closed December 24th and 25th.

Light Art Space will be closed January and February of 2023.

Book Signing

Join us for a book signing this Saturday at 3 pm in the North Gallery at Light Art Space. Photographer, Dale Taylor, will present his recently released coffee table book, “A Personal Williamsburg”. The book is Dales’s personal portfolio of the restored colonial town in which he worked and lived.  Books will be available for purchase.

Weekend at the Galleries & SW Print Fiesta!

This is a great weekend to visit Silver City!  Friday evening join us at LAS for a public reception for two new printmaking exhibitions.

Push & Pull, juried by Frank Rose director of Hecho a Mano gallery in Santa Fefeatures hand-made prints by 19 artists from across the United States.  Don’t miss the amazing work.  Exhibiting Artists:  Paul Acevedo Gomez, Justin Barfield, Stephanie Berrie, Douglas Bosley, Nancy Dodd, Joshua Flores, Raluca Iancu, Mario Kiran, Julianna Kirwin, Stephanie Koply, Lujiang Li, David Manje, Peter Nickel, Mike Pennekamp, Abigail Ranic, Anders Sandstrom, Roxanne Sexauer, Diane Vera-Ureño, Sharon Whitham.

Pressed: Five Printmakers in the Southwest present a variety of processes including collagraph, woodblock, monotype, drypoint, transfers, cyanotype, handmade books, silkscreen, and 3D constructions.
