Reopening, upcoming exhibitions, a call for work, and window repairs…
Light Art Space will be reopening on February 13th. Open Thursday – Saturdays, 11 am – 5 pm.
I am happy to announce 3 upcoming exhibitions. Workshops are still on hold but I am hoping by late summer we will be able to start programming again.
25 photographers from Grant County will be included in the Earth and Sky exhibition. Opening on February 13th.
Also opening February 13th is Ode to Ancient Wings and Precious Water. This collaborative installation features the work of Silver City artists Zoe Wolfe and Carlene Roters.

I am thrilled to announce that Light Art Space has been awarded a
National Park Service (NPS) Main Street Facade Improvement Grant, supported through a grant from the Historic Revitalization Subgrant Program as administered by the National Park Service, Department of Interior. This grant will enable me to replace the damaged front plate windows and four upstairs wood windows along with repairing the historic casement windows on the second floor. I am thankful Silver City has such a vibrant and helpful Main Street program.
Happy January – looking forward to a fabulous February. Stay safe!
