Description

Would you like to join us to make pumpkin ikebana? In this workshop, you will get your hands dirty by taking the seeds out of a fresh pumpkin and making a pretty flower arrangement. This is a fun activity for any age! You will take home your unique arrangement that you could decorate your dining room for Thanksgiving or give to someone special.

Alice Fujita is Brazilian-Japanese and is a Sangetsu Ikebana Instructor. She started learning Ikebana in Japan just for fun but fell in love with the philosophy and the therapeutic effects. She has been teaching Ikebana (Japanese Art of flower arrangement) in the US since 2018. She moved from Brazil to North Dakota in 2016, and to Silver City in 2021.
