Fun with Wire
Come and spend an exciting day of collaboration—and learn to create with baling wire.

You will learn to work with this flexible wire as an art medium. Artist and instructor Joel Armstrong has been using wire as a drawing medium for over 20 years, creating large interactive installations and freestanding art pieces. You will get the opportunity to create a 2-D wire creation. Bring a sack lunch, and something you would like to draw. We will be working in the outdoor sculpture garden. 

Participants must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.

Artist and instructor Joel Armstrong has been using baling wire as a drawing medium for over 20 years, creating large interactive installations and freestanding art pieces. He is new to Silver City and recently retired after 15 years of teaching all facets of art at John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.  Joel is represented by Light Art Space.
