Introduction to the Japanese Art of Flower Arranging
with Alice Fujita

Are you interested in learning a little bit of Japanese culture through flower arranging? In this workshop, I will teach you step by step how to arrange a slanting moribana arrangement. This is one of the beginners’ classes in any ikebana school. Join me to learn about main lines, flower positions on the pin frog, and how to value negative space in the arrangement. It will be a relaxing time and helps to connect to Nature. You will go home with a vase, pin frog and your own unique art form!

March 29th 2025, from 1 to 3 PM.
Let’s celebrate spring together!

Please, bring an ikebana scissors or shears, a hand towel and an empty box to take your arrangement home.

March 29th from 1 to 3 PM.

$120 plus tax. All materials included*

Alice Fujita is a basketmaker and a Sangetsu Ikebana Instructor. She started learning Ikebana in Japan just for fun but fell in love with the philosophy and the therapeutical effects. *$30 discount if you bring your own vase (at least 10 inches diameter) and pin-frog (3 ¼ inches diameter).
