Pull: 5 Female Printmakers
This excitingly diverse exhibition features two and three dimensional work of Jo Andersen, Penny Batelli, Norma Galindo, Maria Lee and Glory Tacheenie-Campoy. These Tucson based printmakers present the viewer with luscious organic abstraction, detailed desert botanicals, deconstructed recycled elements, uniquely structures artist books, and sly social commentary. Various processes are employed including intaglio, letterpress, relief, screen printing, photopolymer etching, drawing, stitching, & collagraphy.
