Description

In this one-day workshop students will learn about color theory, blending, and composition.  With the help of the instructor, Joel Armstrong, you will create unique still-life drawings.  Paper and erasers will be supplied. Joel Armstrong has been working in colored pencil as an art form since the early 80s, both as a fine artist and illustrator, and has a long exhibition history to match. Before moving to Silver City, he spent 14 years teaching drawing and illustration at John Brown University in Arkansas. His strong use of color and keen sense of design make him a great instructor.  Joel is represented by Light Art Space.
